While walking home, I saw this beautiful sunset. I stood there for a few minutes, and pleasantly noticed a few other souls stopped by to admire such panaroma too. Who says Singaporeans are always rushing and have lost their curiosity?

On the topic of 'If I coud talk to God..', Heikel said that he will ask God why does He continue to let there be so much pain, violence, intolerance, hatred, racism, bigotry, wars, murder, genocide, poverty, starvation, homelessness, low wages, greed, corporations, televangelists and politicians exist in this world? Charmaine, on the other hand, thought God is like everybody else, wanting to talk about Himself. So she will ask him what is his favourite colour and such.

To me, being as preoccupied of myself as I'm now, I want to ask him if I'm on the correct path that He has laid for me; I want to ask Him if I made the right choice of choosing what I've never thought I would be; I want to ask Him if I'm on my way to fulfil my purpose on earth; I want to ask Him if rainbow will really appear after this tempestuous period; and just exactly when will I see my rainbow. More, I want to know did God really make Eve from one of Adam's ribs? Why didn't He make her from dust just like Adam? And, why do men and women have the same number of ribs if He stole one from Adam to make Eve? Is it why that there has been sexual inequality? Then what brings two people of different genders together? Love? What is Love? We've seen painful relationships, watched brain-dead romantic movies, and heard silly love songs. Yet we still want to believe in love. Are we nuts? Then after all the struggle, we die. They say we will go to the heaven. Is there really heaven? Or just stories made up to believe optimistically that lives don't end when we die?

Perhaps I rather there is no heaven. Sitting on clouds playing harps? Forget it.
