Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.
Proverbs 6:6

Recently, there are billions of ants in my room. I followed the trail (while killing them one by one, mercy) and found my Mentos.

It is really true that ants never quit. I tried stopping them but they always managed to look for another way; they would climb over, under, or around my fingers. What a neat philosophy, to never quit looking for a solution to reach your destination.

I know there are many stories that depict hardworking ants being busy all summer in view of the coming winter. So why are the ants in my room always busy creeping into my sweet boxes when there is no winter. Yes, ants think winter all summer - we can't be so naive as to assume summer will last forever. Perhaps, somehow, Singapore will enjoy (suffer from) winter one fine day.

According to a fortune teller, my distant eyes (don't laugh) imply that I'm an easy-going person who lives day-by-day and plays by ear. Good or bad, I would like to think that whatever unfavourable occurances I am facing won't last long. Ants think summer all winter, too.
